Leaving the Homeland

The best part about taking the Berlin Night Express was when the train boarded the ferry. We were onboard for a little over 3 hours, so we were able to go out and walk around on deck. I watched the last tip of Sweden vanish into the darkness.

It was such a beautiful night. There's nothing better than feeling the fresh ocean breeze on your face as you look towards your invisible destination shadowed by moonlight.

I went to the shop and bought some chocolate with hazelnuts and eventually made my way back to the tiny sleeping car...
