Last 2 days n Berlin:

Hannah arrived on the 7th. Jules went to pick her up at the airport and I tidied up the apartment and made lunch for the 3 of us.
I put some tofu in the oven with pesto, tamari, sesame seeds, and olive oil and made a nice, big salad.
Her flight was delayed so when they finally arrived, they were both quite hungry.
After lunch, Hanna needed to take a nap, so J and I took our bikes and...
Went to the photo booth! We took a bunch of fun pictures. Unfortunately, I don't have any way of scanning them to show you, but you'll see at some point =)

We went to a cafe, ordered some milchkaffee and did internet stuff until we got worried that Hannah had been waiting for us. But when we got back to the apartment, she was still fast asleep! So we went out again and walked along the canal in the evening sunshine.
We ran into a friend on the way home and she told us about her very recent (and first!) one-night stand with a super hot bartender.
When we got back to the apartment, Hannah was just getting out of the shower. We were all pretty hungry, so we made our way over to the Punk Italian restaurant, five minutes away. Hannah and I were both really looking forward to going there: J had told us about this restaurant long before any plans of visiting Berlin.
I ordered a pizza with buffalo mozzarella, fresh tomatoes, eggplant, etc. The other two ordered pasta dishes and Hannah and I both drank some red wine.

Oh, my God, was it yummy. I ate the whole thing (except for a few spare pieces of crust). It was the thinnest pizza ever and everything had so much flavor.

After dinner, J & H went to a concert. A friend of a friend of Jules' was playing. I was planning on going w
ith them, but it was already pretty late so I decided to go home. I had to make sure to be well-rested in morning!

I got up as soon as my alarm went off at 7:15am. I put some tea in a thermos, put on my floral skirt, packed my make up, and at 10 to 8 I biked over to Esmod. There were some really great pieces, J and I had gone and looked at all the different collections earlier in the
week. The student-designer I was modeling for had a whole science-fiction-meets-fashion concept. Not my cup of tea, but I can't knock her hard work. We were the last group to be presented to the panel, so I didn't get back to the apartment until sometime after 1pm.

After some much needed food, we walked back over to
Jules' school. She needed to drop off an outfit and wanted to show the 3rd years' final collections. I went to a nearby internet cafe to take care of some things and wait for them.

At 3pm, Jules had to run home to take care of something, so Hannah joined me at the cafe. After we were done, we went back to the apartment to pick J up: We had decided to go to a museum. But then Ruby came by to say goodbye and by the time we were ready to leave, it was too late to go to the museum.

So we got on the train and....

Saw the TV Tower...

And some other pretty stuff...

And took the best picture of my trip thus far...

And rolled on the ground laughing...

And met some friends at White Trash...

And drank beer and ate veggie burgers...

And said goodbye to my new Berlin friends =(
