Sebbe left early this morning. I heard him when he came into the bedroom to pack his bag.
I took my time waking up, drank a cup of tea and turned on the computer with the intention of sitting down and doing some serious blogging. But I couldn't get the internet to work. I threw on some clothes and went around the corner to the local Boulangerie to pick something up for breakfast. I decided on a pain au chocolat and a yummy looking bread with olives. I picked up some fruit next door and went back up stairs. After enjoying my breakfast and stressing out over the computer, I decided to give up and go for a walk. Explore the neighborhood. So I grabbed my camera (my new best friend!) and walked over to the park, Parc Monsouris, just a block away. It was really beautiful and warm out, the warmest it's been since arrived in Paris. I took and strolled around for a while.
I took a different route home and picked up some tomatoes and some eggs on the way.
Back at the apartment, I boiled some eggs, ate olive bread with cheese & tomato and made another attempt at connecting to the internet. I failed, once again, but I was able to chat with my mom for a bit on my iPod via Skype.
I decided I needed to get out and experience Paris a little more, so I grabbed my bag and walked to a museum about 15 minutes away. Sebbe had told me about an exhibit about graffiti.
The exhibit, "Né dans la rue" was really great. My favorite part was seeing a photograph of an artist's tag who's name was... NOVA. =)
